PYAO interacts with M & E officer from Phalombe District Council

In a bid to enhance monitoring and evaluation practices, Phalombe Youth Arms Organisation (PYAO) on Saturday had the honour of interacting with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer from Phalombe District Council, Jabesi Mponela.

The engagement provided a platform for fruitful discussions and knowledge exchange on various aspects of monitoring and evaluation methodologies

During the interactive session, members of staff from PYAO engaged in productive conversations with Mponela, exploring into topics ranging from data collection techniques to impact assessment strategies.

Executive Director of PYAO, Vincent Thom, expressed gratitude saying the engagement is likely to bring positive impacts in as far as monitoring and evaluation is concerned.

"We greatly appreciate Mr. Mponela's expertise and the knowledge he shared with us. His insights will undoubtedly enrich our organisation's monitoring and evaluation efforts, enabling us to better serve our project participants,” he said.

In remarks, Mponela shared his perspective on the collaboration, stating, "It was a pleasure to engage with the dedicated team at PYAO. Collaborative efforts such as these are essential for fostering sustainable development initiatives of which it is good for young people of Phalombe."

During the engagement, one of the directors of the board, Joseph Before, said: “The exchange of ideas and experiences have promised to bolster PYAO's ability to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of its daily programs and projects.”
